[VHFcontesting] FTDX3000 and FT8 Set-up Question

I'm having a weird problem with my set-up. On my computer, I can only use
9600 baud to make WSJTX work...If I go faster....crappola!
Do I need to go higher or will this work ok? I've made some hf contacts but
I know my mileage may vary on vhf/uhf.
