Everyone told me that my IC 9100 was very stable, operating FT 8, on 1296.174.
I just recently purchased a '9700. With firmware rev 1.10, which synchs every
second to an external reference, it is very stable. The '9700 is a little
easier to use on digital.

Has anybody compared freq stability between these two on 1.2 and other bands?
I really like the 9100 and would need to justify the purchase of a 9700.
Feedback appreciated.
