Mike - interesting, I've observed almost everyone on
2M FT8 sticks to the established calling sequences.
We TX second when pointed to western half of compass.
We TX first when pointed eastwards.
On 6M it only seems to follow when the band is dead.
But not when there's Es. Then the convention seems
to be we TX second toward Europe, first toward the
Carribbean and South America, and first toward JA.
It's more of a go with the flow thing there it seems.
Tnx for the filter suggestion, not sure it will eliminate
all of my AGC issues but worth trying for sure.
