What I was taught by an experienced VHF was a simple mnemonic, "Beaming
east is even".
Standards are great. (yup, and the punch line is that there are so many to choose from!). Marshall, thank you for the links, And the lost TinyURL will be a forever mystery, which is why about every 3 years, I archive my emails. I know I sent it, so a simple search will find it.
