Thanks Scott. Looking at the book, it may be simpler than I was thinking. I
was trying to figure out how an IF for the TX frequency worked, when it
seems like you just use a mic and a modulator circuit. The RX side, if I'm
reading this right, let's you work full duplex by acting as a transverter
and mixing with an FM broadcast or 2m frequency (or whatever) to get you
off the TX frequency.
Does anyone know if there is a preferred range for RX on these? I believe
that the diode I have is 24.15GHz, so the transmit side will be there plus
or minus drift. Should I use a 2m radio as IF on RX?
There's not much out there on the band, so I'm just trying to get a feel
for what people actually do.
