Hi, on my iPhone 6 I use an app called (OpenAPRS).
You can actually transmit your position with your iPhone and then any station
can log onto APRS Mobile.fi on a computer and it will pinpoint your location on
a map with your grid square. When you move to a Nother great square just
transmit your position again and it will automatically update you on the map
for the other operator to see. I have used it for several years and it works
great
