W2JCN Went up to a near by ridge (about 800 ft) to make some calls and have a
listen.
Only silence on 223.5. True I was only using a HT and a 3 db mobile ant. So
maybe
more power and a higher ridge or hill top. More clubs will have to get their
member out and about
To get more activity on the simplex channels. Maybe attended voice beacons on
the the lesser used
simplex channels would help increase activity.
