Hello all....the CQ WW VHF contest is quite cleverly constructed,
actually. Currently, the CQ contest uses 6M and 2M, by FAR the most
popular VHF bands. Essentially, everyone has gear for 6M and / or 2M.
222 is a VHF band, but Region1 and Region3 do not have 222, so including
222 does not make sense for a Worldwide contest.
Trying to graft on 432 or some of the microwave bands is a bad idea and
just does not make sense for a "VHF Contest".
Maybe ARRL will come up with something for the UHF contest in 2017 that
will be accepted. I hope so....
