Hey folks,

This is for those interested in VHF, UHF and Microwave contesting.

The ARRL has changed the rules for self-spotting above 50 MHz. You can now
self spot.

However, because different technologies are available, it's hard to manage
all of them, especially if you are roving, or, in a multi-op fixed
environment with a lot going on.

Please take a moment to visit http://www.roverstatus.info. This service is
fully up and functional.

Smartphone apps, which will get your location information from your GPS,
are in the works. We should have an Android app available by tomorrow.

Spots to cluster and APRS are verified by valid amateur call sign.

For those worrying about VHF spots on the clusters -- you can filter them
out.

Feedback is appreciated.

73,

Gerry W1VE
