Hi Phil,
I am not sure I will be on, as the 432 antenna system got damaged this past winter. The mast bent and one of the top yagis in the 8 yagi array was broken off the mast and was hanging by the coax and half of a u bolt. There was no way I could climb and fix it, so we removed the rotator and dropped the main mast. (It took two gin poles) I ended up removing half of the antenna, so I am left with only four yagis now. I will really miss that 8 stack. It really played well. Now I am rebuilding the cables and the preamp box, but not sure if it will be done in time for the Sprint. Getting the computer set up for spotting is way down on my list. It sure sounds like a neat idea though if you use a good program like N1MM or Writelog to display spots. I may or may not have ON4KST running at the 432 position. At this point I am just trying to show up!

Greetings,
During the last two sprints several of us have been experimenting with the DX Cluster. Lets see if we can generate more activity this Wednesday evening by generating spots. Do it on anyone you hear calling CQ. But also it would be nice to know who is lurking on the bands. That way we know to turn antennas in the right direction and then call cq. For instance, if I know that VE3ZV is calling others, I can turn my antenna and call CQ in his direction. So figure out your logger, connect it to the internet, and generate some spots during the Sprint. I will be on ON4KST as well, but the spotting network makes things so much easier by putting the information right there in front of you in the logger. I use N1MM+, it is working great for VHF.
See you all on. Let hope for some great conditions.

Phil K3TUF FN10we
