Terry W8ZN and I (Andy/K1RA) worked over the past weekend on reviving the
N3UW rover we used last Jan and will attempt to go out again this year. We
should have RF on 50 MHz thru 10 GHz SSB/CW. I will op the low bands and
use 144.247 as my sked and fallback freq. Terry will also have 146, 223 &
446 FM along with the uwave station. The FM box will mainly be used on
223.5 for his coordination.
We're running last year's route in reverse, starting near Phili and then
moving west and south. Below is our operating schedule in local time.
About 1.5 hrs operating time per grid.
FM19xx - 2:00-3:30
FM29ax - 4:00-5:30
FN20bi - 6:30-8:00
FN10ni - 9:30-11:00
HOTEL - midnite - 7:00 (Chambersburg PA)
FM19aw - 7:30-9:00
FN00wx - 9:30-11:00
FM09te - 1:00-2:30
FM18ax - 3:30-5:00
FM08us - 6:30-11:00
We will be operational while in motion on the low 4 and I've actually
worked some uwave QSOs too, though can't turn that array while driving.
Work us early and work us often!
