You can have experts check-out your rover and/or microwave station system
and/or its components by attending the Central States VHF Society Conference
in Austin on July 24-27th. You'll also be able to get the lowdown by viewing
other rover and dish station configurations. Exhibitors will be available to
provide *free* advice during the rover-row and dish-bowl on Friday morning.
Test equipment operated as a *free* service by technical experts will assess
your:
- Overall dish system sun noise performance measurements by Al
Ward, W5LUA - requires your dish and transverter (receive function only) -
dish bands
- Antenna gain measurements by Kent Britain, WA5VJB - requires
only your antenna(s) and feed(s) - 50 MHz on up
- Pre-amp and/or transverter noise figure
