Peter.. not only do I 'Own/Run a TR-751/851'.. I also 'Own the Group' !

If the Rig is in near NOS..(ie:original Box.Manual/mic/MB-10 (lil Y-Plug on the Rear) You could probably get $350 or so ! If it does have the Vol/Squ.. RIT/RF Pot problems that were associated with them.. that knocks $100 of easy ! There are Replacement pots yet available as well. I have seen many 'Parts Rigs' even go for $150.. ! So far, I have been fortunate with mine, to not experience any problems, other than Freq. Drift.. but that is another board problem, that is still available 'New' for $12 or so ! 73 and GL

One of our club members has developed neurological issues and has

what. Came on suddenly, though, got better for a while but now I
guess he's in some sort of memory care facility. Very sad - we miss
him at the VE sessions.

Anyway, his daughter is looking to sell some of his stuff and one of
the pieces is a Kenwood TR-751A 144 MHz all-mode. I don't yet know
the condition, but I bet it's clean and well cared for.

What would one of those be worth? I figure this group would have a
better idea than the folks on most of the lists I'm on.

Also, what vintage is it? I figure late 1980s, but I really don't know.

Thanks,

Peter
