A new contesting group has been conjured in the mid-west, namely the
Wild Screaming Frogs Contesting Group. Composed of various nut cases
around EN82 +/- 1 grid square, our goal is to have fun, welcome all to
VHF contesting, and to eventually become competent.

The callsign used will be WB8WSF.

This contest we will be on 6M, and possibly (hopefully) 2M, with
antennas at the munificent height of 15 feet, atop Signal Hill at Domino
Farms, just outside Ann Arbor, Michigan EN82dh. Well, close to dh--
we will strive to figure out exactly where we are, Saturday.

We plan on operating from 2p Saturday to fall-over time on Sunday.
Weak signals and rovers are always very welcome: if it takes 10+ minutes
to complete a call, so be it. This is weak signal stuff, after all.

The group is undergoing something of a reboot from other endeavors,
gathering equipment for operation on the lower six bands, and procuring
new victims--I mean members. So 6M today, and perhaps 6 - 23cm by the
time of the September contest!

Anyone in the area is welcome to stop by, either to help out,
try their hand at contesting, or for the possibility of watching the
unintended entertainment we will undoubtedly provide.

This announcement should have been sent out before now, but there
is that competence issue, again...
