Well there was no tropo enhancement here at all.
As a matter of fact, conditions seemed worse than normal.
I missed the first hour, which probably didn't help,
since by then everyone in grids west of me were busy
pointing the other way to work midwest DX. I tried listening
behind some stations working it but not a peep here.
Worked 52 Q's / 18 grids, all "local", best DX FM18 & FN14.
Probably not bad considering my handicap of 7 surgical staples
in my head from a serious injury a few days ago. I'm
actually pretty lucky just to be alive and remember my name
after that. TNX to all who answered my calls and to the
Sponsors. Looking forward to the 222 Sprint. Also to
reading more reports from those who caught the opening.
