I have been following this thread. I think I saw a Saturn 6, one time.
Regarding the Moxon/Yagi selection. This is the classic tradeoff. A dipole is
easy to build and takes up little space. An M2 or Par loop is more expensive,
probably works little better than a dipole and has a different shape. A Moxon
has a different shape, than either a dipole or a loop, takes up a little more
space than a loop and appears to be a much better antenna. If it is 1~2 db
under a 3 element Yagi, it looks like a very good deal. Everybody has their
limits. Personally I would not take a 3 element Yagi, roving. But a Moxon, I
would take.
The other day, I was talking to one guy, who says he will take a 27 foot 6M
Yagi, with him, the next time he goes roving. To each his own.
