Ignoring the "programming requirements" for LOTW (which is in need of
a ground-up re-write, but never mind that) ... this is where a lot of
the 6-and-up crowd fall down.

I've got nearly 200 grids worked on 6 but I've only got half that
confirmed. I have had several of those (I should count them)
confirmed but the op never put a grid square in his TQSL station
location. We really, really need to get everyone on VHF to get on
LOTW.

I would never have bothered with 50-MHz VUCC were in not for LOTW.
Too expensive at over $3 per QSO by mail! With LOTW, it was
reasonable so as soon as I got grid #100 confirmed, I clicked "apply".
Will get my 125 sticker that way, too ... if only more VHF ops would
join!

And on 144 MHz, I'm only 91 confirmed grids short of VUCC! :-D
