Sean--

I think most VHF Operators would join me in echoing Steve's high praise for the work you've done. I'm a history buff, and have read everything I can get my hands on about the pioneering days of the World Above 50 MHz, including nearly all of the QST columns. Up until the mid-1970's it was common for the league to refer to the collective "us" as the VHF Gang. And to individual operators as "VHF Men". It was understood
that the title had to be earned by your achievements on the ultra-highs.

Sean, you're a VHF Man, in every since of the world. Hope that you can convey some of your love for this frequency range, and the unique challengers that lie there.

Hope you're missed at the Contest desk, but not on the air. Thank you for all that you did for us.

Sean, good luck. You have done a great job in the VHF arena for sure. Lots of enthusiasm, put your money where your mouth was by getting out and operating, etc. You will be missed and your shoes will be tough to fill. Onward and upward.
