While I personally don't know David Palmer, KB5WIA--I can tell that he's a true "VHF Man" in every since of the word. Active on EME, satellites, and QRP VHF/UHF portable, his blog is a treasure trove of information for any VHF operator who is interested in the explorations of a modern operator.

You can read about David's experiments with a FunCube Dongle Pro, 2 Meter EME, antenna noise plotting, WSJT, and amateur satellites. While not a big gun, it's obvious that David is a first class operator.
