Niel N2IEL stops by every Saturday with a new goodie or two for the SSPA
projects. Today it was a hard wired remote temperature sensor. This is a
very nice sensor! I'm too busy building the amplifier, preparing for the
Tech class and working in Maryland to do this device justice.

This is a high end professional device that runs on 120VAC and can control
fans and trip alarms. It will work up to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit and even
has a serial buss. I have all the documentation. I need some to build a
stand alone box, wire it up and test it for the mountain.

The 2M SSPA does have a thermal shut off but there's no way to monitor the
temperature in real time.

&prodid=361. A manual is on the link page.

Come on guys, step up! This can be a real asset.
