Hi gang, I posted this last wednesday and it never came thru.. in fact I never
received any postings from this reflector until today, and alas my posting
(beloe) was not one of them..
Oh well I shall persevere.. I still have the amps..

Hi gang, I'm selling my big tube amps. Not getting off the air, but want to go
solid state at home and probably mostly roving anyway..
Here's the rundown.. All Homebrew stripline ("RIW" style) amps - my own designs
but straight forward enough.
144: 8877 in 1/2 wave stripline configuration. Tube at one end, vacuum variable
at the other. antenna loading by capacitive probe (adjustable disc) at tube
end. Input circuit is series L shunt C series L. Mounted behind 7" rack panel.
has 1 amp plate meter and switchable "multimeter" that reads grid current or
power fwd and reflected. Power is read by Jones Micromatch on back panel. Zener
diode bias, filament transformer and blower are all on there. BNC in, N out. HV
via HN connector. Tube's in good shape. This is the amp i've been using all
along, it puts out well over 1.5KW.. $500 o.b.r.o
222: 8877 in 1/2 wave stripline. tuning and loading by flappers. 7" rack panel.
Grid and plate meters, blower, filament. Zener bias. Good tube. amp puts out
over a KW.. $500 o.b.r.o.
432: 8874 in 1/2 wave stripline. tuning and loading by flappers. 7" rack panel.
Grid and plate meters, blower, filament. Zener bias. last time i used it put
out 600 watts so i guess the tube is good, though it IS the original from back
when an 8874 cost 50 bucks from Barry electronics. grid and plate meters and
power meter switchable fwd and rev. (Jones Micromatch) $350 o.b.r.o.
all plus shipping.
I'll answer any questions and I can send pictures. Offering here first, then (I
hope it doesn't get this far) eBay! I'm not saying these amps are in PERFECT
condition, but the tubes are good, and were working great the last time I used
them, which was probably 5-6 years ago...
