Three down and two to go for the 2011 Spring Sprints.

The submission deadline has passed for 144 MHz with the "final" count of
Logs Received at 64 but I am awaiting a reply from one log submitter that
may add 1 to that count.

The DEADLINE for 222 MHz log submissions is this coming WEDNESDAY, May 4th,
so don't delay. I've received one Mailed/Paper log for 222 MHz and it's
probably too late now to mail a 222 MHz entry but there is STILL time to use
WA7BNM's Web-to-Cabrillo form to submit a log entry for 222 MHz. The log
submission deadline for 432 MHz is May 12th.

As of this morning's updates of Logs Received, 35 have been received for 222
and 30 for 432 MHz.

THIS week brings the Microwave Spring Sprint on Saturday, May 7 from 6am to
1pm local time.

ALSO, let this serve as an additional reminder that the 50 MHz Spring Sprint
is the FOLLOWING Saturday, May 14th, 2011, in the afternoon and evening,
starting at 2300 UTC on May 14th and running through 0300 UTC on May
15th...please "ignore" some incorrect information that ended up in the May,
2011, QST.

One FINAL reminder...the e-mail address to submit 'electronic' (Cabrillo
formatted) logs is springsprintlogs@gmail.com It also helps ME a lot IF the
Subject line of the e-mail is "Callsign Band" (K9JK/R 432, as an example) as
described in Section 7.2.1.3 of the Rules (
http://sites.google.com/site/springvhfupsprints/2011-announcement-rules) To
save you from having to go there, here is the text from that part of the
rules:

7.2.1.3. E-mail logs to: springsprintlogs@gmail.com preferably using a
"Plain Text" e-mail format, with ONLY "your call" and the "band" in the
Subject line (WA2FGK 144 -or- K3TUF MICROWAVE for example) and with the log
file as an attachment named "<your call>.LOG" (e.g. W9GKA.LOG)

Thanks to all that have participated so far.

73, 'JK' (K9, that is), Spring Sprint host and log-checking human
