Hello Steve, I have also researched this and even though I opted to stay at 100 watts on UHF for my Rover set-up I came across the TE-system amplifiers such as this model: 4405G, that puts out around 175 watts. Not sure if that is a good median power but most others that I have talked to seem to agree that this is a nice "next step" opposed to paying for a Lunar Link amp.
