The Transfox SDR looks very interesting. "1MHz to 1100 MHz. Frequency plan can be extended beyond existing frequency range upon agreement." To 1296?? 0.1 W output. Very detailed specs are at: ftp://ftp2.rfham.com/rfham/Transfox.pdf The first couple of paragraphs are in French, the lengthy tables of specifications are in English. I'm not sure how to compare some of these specifications to other transceivers, particularly the parameters on strong signal handling.
