Midwest Mania! is a special effort to increase activity and
fun across the Great Plains during the Sept VHF Contest.
The Midwest Division encompasses IA, MO, KS, and NE. Throw
in OK, SD, and eastern CO and you have the Great Plains. I
could have called it "Great Plains Mania!" but "Midwest
Mania! is more alliterative.

Fixed stations in the Great Plains: Get on the air and have
fun with increased activity!
Fixed stations on the periphery: Look out into the Great
Plains and collect some Q's and Grids that you might not
normally work.
Rovers in the Great Plains: Get out there on the roads and
activate some grids for the fixed stations.
A fair number of Rovers have already pledged to go out:
WR0I/R, KA0KCI/R, KK6MC/R, KR5J/R, KR0VER/R, N0LP/R, KD0S/R,
WD5AGO/R, W3DHJ/R, KB0QGT/R, and W9FZ/R. There's room for
more!
Stations in the Great Plains, let me know if you'll be on
the air. Stations on the periphery, let me know if you'll be
making a special effort to look out into the Great Plains.
