Thinking about doing a portable operation from either Shenandoah National Park in Virginia or from my house in Newport News, VA (FM17). I'll have access to 432MHz and 1296MHz. Any suggestions? I've never really done a lot of UHF work and I just got 1296MHz in the radio a couple of weeks ago.
