Good Day All,
I wanted to pass on that during the September Contest I will be on vacation
and will be operating from FM25 (South Nags Head, NC). Current plans are
for 6 (100 watts), 2 (50 watts) and 70cms (50 watts). Antennas will be a
PAR stressed Moxon on 6 meters and an Elk Log Periodic on 2 and 70 cms. I
have a sectioned mast that will get the Elk up to about 20 feet above sea
level...with the moxon a few fet below it.
I will entertain some schedules if you desire. Other than that, I will be
starting at the top of the hour pointing N/NE rotating counterclockwise to
the South and then starting over each hour that I operate. If there are
openings on any band, this method will change accordingly.
I am planning a dry run on the system that I am taking to the beach, this
weekend during the CQ VHF contest...to try and work the kinks out.
Hope to hear lots of signals both weekends.
73,
- Jeff -
