The next generation of radiosport will focus on the "rules of reporting" rather
than the "rules of operation".
In effect...participants will be encouraged to operate in ways that bring them
joy. They are simply required to factually report their strategy, along with
their score.
Through the magic of data-mining of the sponsor's database of submissions,
participants will be able to compare their performance against others who
operated similarly (with the term "similarly" defined by the data miner
themself, not the sponsor).
To top it off, once the results are mined, participants will be presented with
the ability to download a PDF certificate that coincides with how they define
their "category". Examples include (but are certainly *not* limited to):
1st Place: Fixed, 4-operators, 4-bands, 100-watts Maximum
3rd Place: Rover, 1-operator, 6-station pack, Texas
9th Place: Fixed, USA, Overall
It is only a matter of time until the right team of folks is assembled to
create the systems to support such a thing (many components already exist).
