Made several new posts to http://www.kc9bqa.com today.
1) The 2 meter SSB and FM nets this week are *ON* as usual.
2) I promote the VHF/UHF club I belong to, the Badger
Contesters.
3) I promote the upcoming CQ WW VHF Contest. 6 and 2
meters only -- July 18-19th. In some ways, I consider this the
most fun V/UHF contest there is, plus it tends to be pretty friendly
to the more modest stations, or the newer contester.
See if you can personally encourage someone you know
who has 6 and/or 2 meters to get on the air and give this one a try!
The July CQ WW VHF can also be an excellent time to find,
develop or encourage a new rover. Only 2 bands to "worry"
about, plus it's generally more relaxed (easier for a newcomer
to absorb)
If you have 5-10 minutes, please visit the website and get fired
