Hi All. Check out my last blog post at www.kc8qvo.com. I can get Internet
access at a certain point on the lake so I can check my e-mails and all.
The bands haven't been too good. I have worked 5 grids on 6m so far but no big
openings. I am not sure whats up with that. The other bands have been dead.
When I am monitoring I am on 144.200 and 50.125. Sometimes I put on 432.100
also, but I have to use my 6m all-mode for 6m and then switch to another rig if
the band cracks open. So most of the time I just run 6 and 2m (6m on the 857d
and 2m on the ts-2000).
Also, I usually have an HF rig monitoring 14.342.5 (the HFPack calling
frequency). Feel free to give me a call on there. If I am in the cabin I will
jump on.
As always, if you hear me on the air please post on the reflectors!
Steve, VE3/KC8QVO
