Yes it seems they were not paying attention to the input on the 4 band issue.
They should of set the 3 basic bands and let a guy pick the fourth. Now the
cheapest option is a 222 fm radio. Well in fact you could do the whole contest
with some handhelds on fm.
The Arrl is about as boneheaded as the idea of destroying the Planet Vulcan for
Star Trek.
