To the list;
K1PHG and I are embarking on a project to convert MA/Com 10G white boxes. At
this time, we have 3 un-converted units and dish antennas (purchased from
WA3ZKR).
Before we proceed, both of us are wondering if this is now a worthwhile
project - i.e., is it better to move to DEMI type kits, etc.?
Does anyone have spare crystals available to put the IF of these units on
146 MHz ? (away from the low end of 2m)
Does anyone have any converted units and / or components for sale ?
Additionally, in the test equipment department, I own an HP 8551B and 141T
spectrum analyzers - what additional hardware is needed to be able to see
the 10GHz signals?
What about a weak signal source for RX testing?
Thanks for the input,
Steve W1SMS and Pete K1PHG
