FYI, John, K9JK, has officially announced the 2009 Spring VHF/UHF Sprints here: http://www.sysadnet.com/vhfsprintrules.htm I'm going to try to operate the 2m and 432 sprints (maybe the 6m sprint too) portable from EM86NV (Black Mtn, KY 4100+ AMSL) this year if work/family schedules allow. I may do a "recon" run down there next weekend to see what the noise floor looks like (radar and lots of commercial tx up there).
