I have a SSB Electronics 1270-100B 1296Mhz amp that is having a problem with
keying itself up intermittingly without any RF drive. It does it when RF
sensed or hard keyed. The amp takes a regular mono audio connector for hard
keying and when I move the connector around or rotate it while plugged into the
amp it keys it up sometimes. Almost like there is a bad connection for the
hard keying connector on the amp side. I sent the amp back to SSB Electronics
with no luck and I don't know anyone else who specializes in repairing this
kind of amp. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Chris, KA3ZLS.
