I have a copy of the ARRL VHF Manual dated 1965, and it has (presumably) the
same transmitter in it. There's a 6 meter version as well. Some of that
then-state-of-the-art technology is pretty interesting, especially the
microwave stuff. When's the last time you built a rig using a hydrogen
thyratron?
