Well, we had fun .. I guess I told the story of never getting hassled
by the police too many times, 'cause we had 2 different encounters on
this rove ;)
Conditions were average .. no tropo, hardly any dx at all, but solid
coverage a couple of circles of grids out so the jitney seems to be
doing it's job OK.
Hogback from 1600-2000 did not turn out to be as productive as we had
hoped, need to figure out how to spend time there later in the evening
and still make it to PA early the next morning (teleport?)
Camelback FN21 rocks! as does Tashua Hill in FN31. Our FM09 choice was
bad, lost much time and ended up at a gate 1/2 mile from the top :(
Gotta go on more scouting trips ...
SDR .. insanely useful addition to the uW station. I now need to get
the integration right so there's not so much fumbling around.
Roverlog .. I've taken to hacking on the code a bit .. I patched in
some of Tom's dev code for roverlog control of radio band, worked
pretty well but still some bugs to iron out (thanks Tom!)
We did over 500q in about 110 or so grids .. the number is around 140K
.. should have real numbers in a couple of days.
more to come ..
