Well,
I will return from the office tonight about 6:00pm and will be QRV by
7:00pm. We will be having rain throughout the day so the xverter 3.4, and
remotes for the 5.7 and 10 will wait until I get home.
I should be fully operational from the abyss here in FM18hk by 7:00pm
tonight.
I have added a new SDR-IQ and revamped all the xverters from 903 and up to
go to a Elecraft 144XV and then a TS-570S. The Elecraft is set to Single
TX/RX however the separate RX port still has RX in the Open position so that
feeds the SDR-IQ.
This will now show me 192khz of bandwidth 96k above and 96k below the
frequency I am supposed to be on. Yes that is correct "supposed" is a term
I think all of us are familiar with once we reach 2 or 3 gig. I missed a few
Q's in the June VHF test because I did not find the other party, not because
the path loss was too great. This should alleviate this problem assuming
that I do not let the smoke out of something else here in the shack.
Frmm the abyss in FM18HK, W4SHG QRV tonight thru 10G
