Steve, K4GUN, made an interesting comment. Well, more than one, but this one
is a really good suggestion I think for rovers in areas with very limited
activity:

I remember that a few years ago someone made a map on which all locations of
stations were marked that recently entered a VHF contesting log. Does anyone
know where to find it (I admit, haven't Googled it yet) and is there a
recent one?
