I've been trying to post here for over a month with no luck. I'll try this
email account and see if the reflector is happy with it.

We've been building bigger and better antennas for 6 and 2. About 10 dB better
to be precise. We also are getting a little better organized so we spen less
time fumbling with non-working stuff and more time operating with it! ;)
We'll hit the ground running from FN11be (2375' AMSL) on 6, 2 and 432. With our
puny power (100, 50 and 35 watts respectively) we pretty much have to do S&P.
We will call periodically on or near the calling frequencies when clear. We
plan on staying there for at least 2 hours -- 4:00 pm Eastern or later.
Next stop is FN01qf. It'll take us about 2 hours to eat supper, get there and
get set up, so the earliest we'll be on is 6:30 pm Eastern. Plan on 7:00 pm for
sure. We'll be there for at least 2 hours, or until the band plays out.
After that, it'll be back home to get a good night's rest for the out-of-state
motorcycle trip the Rover-mobile owner/driver is going to on Sunday. I told him
he ought to take a rig, but there's no room on his Goldwing. :(
I'll try to go out on my own with the old, small, 3-element 2 meter yagi and 6
meter dipole (but the same 432 antenna) and put FN00ox on the air overnight. Or
maybe first thing Sunday morning.
Sure wish I could do more, but I'm no longer physically able to horse the big
antennas around safely. And there's no way to strap them down to my car. It's
just too small.
Question... If you had to pick two grids from the following list to work us in,
which woud they be? (Pick any two): FN00 FN01 FN10 FN11 FM09 FM19 EN90 EN91 or
EM99? I am located pretty much in the middle of them, so I'll try to put the
most requested ones on in future roves.
