Hello Les,
I also use VQLOG by EA6VQ. It is the only way that I would even have a 
prayer of figuring out what I have worked in the past. I am sure there are 
other good programs, but this one works pretty well for me. It is a whole 
pile better than grid maps and highlighters!!!
