Hi All,
Was unable to get on until about 9:30pm local time.
The station hadn't been touched since the ARRL January
contest (tsk-tsk), but it came to life with a small
amount of work.
Activity came and went but it was fun. I ended up
with 5 QSOs in 5 grids. Conditions to the east seemed
to be a bit better than other headings. I worked FN13
to the east (NQ2O), EM89 to the south (WZ8D), and EN61
to the west (forgot callsign).
My 2m setup is a M2 5WL at 58ft, running about 120w in
the shack. I don't have a mast-mounted preamp.
I am planning to be on for the 220 sprint next week.
Thanks to K9JK and W4SHG for sponsoring these activity
nights!
73,
Ron (W8RU).
