The only 'UHF contest band' I have at the moment is 222... the usual
500 watts to single 6.7 wl yagi at 85 feet. I'll not be making any
big effort as I am so far off the beaten path. I will be tuning
around the band from time to time, but mostly will leave it parked
on 222.100 as I work on projects around the shack, most notably
evening and early morning. I will pounce if any signals sneak through.

During the day, if the weather is good, I will be outside clearing
trees from the new tower site! A *BIG* thank you to all who offered
help and suggestions during my recent "all out" tower search! I
found some, and close enough to home so that getting it wasn't a
major obstacle.

73,
Paul N1BUG FN55mf
