I really like 9913F7. It isn't air filled like 9913, so water isn't going to
run down inside.
However, you can also find *great* deals on Andrew LDF4-50 and
sometimes, LDF5-50. The 1/4" LDF4-50 loses about .8dB per 100
feet, and LDF5-50 about .45dB per 100 feet on 2M. If you look
around you can sometimes find 4-50 for $1/foot, and 5-50 for $2
a foot. Granted you have to scrounge, but new Heliax at this
prices are possible; I've done it three times now. The connectors
are harder to find, but at Dayton this year there were 4-50 N
connectors in the $10 range.
The loss at 2M for 9913F7 isn't bad, but if you start climbing up
the bands you'll appreciate Heliax more.
