4 meter band sounds good, except for those pesky Channel 4 and 5 TV
transmitters:-). I understand that there was mention of an 8 meter band
being considered, since lots of commercial folks were vacating low-band VHF
for UHF. Maybe a band without contests? Use of 144.200 during contests is
not the issue, the use of it for ragchewing hours and hours(before,during,
and after contests) is the issue.
