Last night I rovered to FN14, hoping for great results and was there from 2300
to 0300. My total Q's was 7, namely KC2LEE, Buffalo, N2YJU and N2AU in the
Rochester area, then VE3ARD and VE3XG followed by K2ERG, and K2MQY on cw. To
sit in a vehicle and wait for what have been another 4 to 6 hours is too much
in a desolate area when it takes an hour to pack and return home afterwards.
Good to hear that Al K3TKJ and other diehards got some significant action in
the middle of the night. Looking to hear more success stories too. Go for it.
73,
Bill
