November's QST has a real gem embedded inside...and we VHF contesters probably missed it because it had a decidedly HF interest. Same on us. :)

Read "Hands On Radio -- Experiment #22" on page 61 and think about how this information can be used to help multiband VHF stations reduce inter-band self-QRM during contests (ie: 6m QRM while you are scanning for stations on 2m, or vice versa and etc.).

Yes, there are many reasons for self-inflicted QRM, but this article will provide you with very inexpensive to implement suggestions as to how to reduce/eliminate one of them.
