These are the same guys that worked each other 98% of the time in a group of
4 while traveling across the plain sates.
As it is applied in the ARRL contests, "Rover" is the only category of
competition in which one's score may grow non-linearly simply by making
a trivial change in one's geographic location. It rewards driving and
geocaching skill above the advancement of Amateur technical or operator
skill.
