W3SO, FN00sn, 6m 2004 Spring Sprint Results and SoapboxOperating hours from 7:00PM till 10:45PM. QSOs: 101 Grids: 28 Claimed Score: 2,828 Op: W3BTX The QSO rate was highest from 7 - 9PM then started to drop off. In this sprint W3SO did work some rovers, thanks guys. There were no band openings. There was a brief morning opening to 5 land, but only ground wave during the sprint. And on Sunday the band opened again. Most of the QSO's were North and South. The best DX was FN25 and FM08 from the QTH in FN00sn. Station details are at <www.qrz.com/w3so> and QSLs to W3TEF. All equip worked well - no problems encountered. These sprints are a good shakedown for equipment. We will see you in June for the ARRL contest and in July for the CQ contest. For the Wopsononock Mountaintop Operators, Ed K3IXD _______________________________________________ VHFcontesting mailing list VHFcontesting@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/vhfcontesting |
