W3SO, FN00sn, had 32 QSOs and 20 grids in the 222 MHz 2004 Spring Sprint. To all that made it into the log, thanks for the QSO. W3SO worked 7 new grids. The activity was better than last year, however the activity dropped when the President came on. There wasn't any opening to the west, FM18 and FM28 (to the east) weren't worked nor were any rovers worked. To the NE the best DX was FN42, to the South it was FM06 and to the north it was FN04. VEs from FN02, FN03, and Fn04 were worked. The propagation was N/S, like last week in the 2m sprint. Due to very heavy fog, the station was shut down about 10:30. It took about 3 times longer than usual to drive down the mountain. W3SO will be active in the 432 Spring Sprint and looks forward to your QSO. QSL to W3TEF CBA. For the W3SO team 73, Ed K3IXD _______________________________________________ VHFcontesting mailing list VHFcontesting@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/vhfcontesting |
