[VHFcontesting] Elecraft Transverters

Anyone have any experiences with the Elecraft transverters?  I have a friend
with a K2 that is interested.  I can recommend the DEMI units; I have 2 of
them and am happy with them, but the tight integration with the K2 caught
the eye of my friend, who is new to VHF.  Anyone done a comparison?
